#TheJoystickLunatic: Road to Call of Duty #AdvancedWarfare: Part 4

Join #ProfessionalGamer RRAYK_47 as he prepares for the release of Call of Duty #AdvancedWarfare.

Welcome to professional gamer RRAYK_47 road or should I say blog to Call of Duty Advanced Warfare preporation.  This week I'm going to cover scouting video's for more in-depth play tutorials.  While I was playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 online I had the pleasure of running into a player who was featured on Machinima.  Little did I know this experience would completely change the way I viewed the Call of Duty online experience.  To make a long story short he referred me to Machinima's YouTube channel where, I can honestly say the hashtag #CallofDutyLiteracy came about.  This experience made me change the way I played and of course gave birth the whole Idea of Call of Duty preparation.  So with that being said be sure to explore the Call of Duty world of Machinima and check out the great killstreak tutorials from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 & 3 because it helps when your eye's adjust to the graphic designers finished product, and it gets you familiar with that Game Developers FPS style.  That concludes this part of RRAYK_47's #AdvancedWarfare preparation blog be sure to check back later for more advanced and in-depth tutorials in the future.  Also make sure you interact with Machinima on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube for future updates from them.

#TheJoystickLunatic : Road to Call of Duty #AdvancedWarfare Part 3

#ProfessionalGamer RRAYK_47 blogs his Call of Duty Advanced Warfare release preparation.

In my opinion staying clear of teasers until official multiplayer gameplay footage is released is vital, unless it's an official Call of Duty trailer.  There are millions of fans and rumors that can be spread throughout the internet.  With that being said it could be easy to find yourself getting excited over features and capabilities that don't exist, which could lead to unnecessary preparation.

In the last post I spoke about something that I want to get a little deeper into and that is, playing prior releases of the same series.  Judging by the trailer Activision released #AdvancedWarfare is going to be from the Modern Warfare branch of the Call of Duty tree.  One of the most effective game modes that I've found handy when it comes to reaching maximum prestige is Headquarters, which was missing in Ghosts but is always in my opinion mandatory for Modern Warfare.  Headquarters is also one of the game modes where your kill death ratio is either going to either rise or fall quickly per match. The safest game modes to prepare for would be Team Deathmatch and Domination.  Due to the unavailability of Headquarters in the last release I found myself playing a combination of Kill Confirmed and Domination to reach maximum prestige the quickest.

Please keep in mind that I am just a gamer and nothing I'm sharing is going to change the outcome or success rate of anyone's overall performance.  But I can say that I have logged some pretty incredible hours on my Call of Duty journey and there is definitely something to be learned from it.

#TheJoystickLunatic: Road to Call of Duty #AdvancedWarfare Part 2

Some people like to say "out with the old, in with the new" but when it comes to preparing for a new Call of Duty release it's more like "scout with the old, then hit the new".  What I mean by that is, I watch video's and play the older games from whatever sequel is coming out.  If possible all of them, simply because the control response timing and graphics artists approach varies.  Thats something that every gamer has to deal with until the end of video games,  which for the sake of professional gamers I hope doesn't come.  Video's and playing time also keep you occupied strategically, while battling your patience which is blitzed with the urge to dive into the #AdvancedWarfare online rankings.

Join Professional Gamer RRAYK_47 as he prepares for the release of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare

Since the release of Call of duty ghosts which is, "in my opinion" the worse COD release I've had the pleasure of playing, theres been a deep sense of revenge brewing from all of the pointless matches of defeat suffered at the hands of this recent launch.  From all of the obstacles that it's new style of Online play implements to the new weapons and perk functions, each game can be rough to adjust or simply put get use to.  It's not easy having to adapt to different guns and gameplay that varies depending on which sequel or series gets the release.  I have a Call of Duty offseason routine that I like to do to prepare for adapting to the many new features and game modes that the Legendary Call of Duty franchise has introduced to the video game world over the years.  With that being said visit me regularly for updates on strategic steps and training routines that I'll be covering to prepare for the NEW Highly Anticipated release of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare.
